I was the lead designer and art director of the 2016 MasterChef Australia promo campaign. MasterChef is one of the main courses in the Australian reality TV market, and broadcasts to several international markets. MasterChef positions itself as the premiere reality cooking show.

In a market where drama is often the most important thing, MasterChef puts food first. With this in mind, the treatment of the graphics in MasterChef 2016 don't shout at you, they speak in an articulate and confident voice. Neutral tones, chocolate, cream, gold. The colours of understated taste, and a ripe canvas for explosions of colour and magic to highlight moments throughout the campaign.

Following up from the launch, I was the lead designer and art director throughout the season. Based on the launch look of cream and chocolate, the graphics could meet the needs of any episode, from explosive and shocking to elegant and tasteful. I worked on the majority of the episodes.
